The thoughts that go through my mind...
I hate when you cut up an abundance of cheese and pickles for constructing little cracker sandwiches, and the ratio between the three are off, so you end up with more cheese then pickles, and despite your attempt to double your cheese up, your sandwiches just don’t taste the same, thus, resulting in you having to go and cut up MORE pickles…. and then it just turns into a vicious...

PETA- Pushy or Perfect?
PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) was created to help raise awareness for animal abuse. But have they lost sight of their cause and gone to far with their skimpy ads and celebrity endorsements? Do you think they should go about animal cruelty in a completely different way?  Lets hear the good, the bad, and the ugly!

Vegetarian's Night Out- A How-To Tale
Eating out as a vegetarian can seem a little bit intimidating at first, especially if you live somewhere that has little to no veggie-based restaurants kickin’ around! One of my biggest pet peeves is getting dolled up to go eat at a fancy restaurant and realizing that the only thing that I can eat is salad. Salad is the LAST thing that I want to pay for when I go eat out! However, it...

Tofu- Do you love it or do you hate it?
Before I became a vegetarian I never even had a thought about tofu, so when I tried my first piece it was a bit of a surprise, also known as, ick! However, after mastering a few techniques to make it actually edible, it has become another delicious variety of ‘faux-meat’ for me.  What about you, is tofu the bane of your existence or does it play the leading role in your culinary...

What was the main reason that made you decide to...
It’s always interesting to hear other people’s reasoning on becoming a vegetarian or vegan!  The main reason I became a vegetarian was due to the research I did on animal testing- that was definitely the big eye opener for me that made me look into what all of these animal industries were all about. And fortunately, it completely changed my world around for the better!

Vegetarianism- Myth's VS. Reality
Just like anything humans do in life, with a label such as ‘vegetarian’, ridiculous myths and rumors sneak along with it.  Myth-All vegetarians are healthy and slim  Reality- Just like any type of diet, whether it be meat or plant based, humans have the chance of gaining or losing weight. Becoming a vegetarian does NOT necessarily mean you are going to lose weight. In fact, it could...

Bullies- It Happens to all of Us
If there is one thing I have learned from being a vegetarian (or being a teenager for that matter) it’s to pay no-mind to peoples ‘jokes’. Where I live, being a vegetarian is a completely foreign concept, it’s pretty much the unthinkable. And if you are serious about being a vegetarian, you have to ignore the rude comments that you will more than likely get.  I know this...
